Tanzanite

Spyglass Designs' tanzanite jewelry is handcrafted in earrings and necklaces set in 14k solid gold, 14k gold-filled, and sterling silver. Tanzanite is a violet-blue zoisite found in exactly one place — a few square kilometres near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania — which makes it one of the rarest gemstones in commercial use. It's a December birthstone.

Each piece is designed with the same casual, classic elegance as the rest of our collection — simple enough for everyday wear, polished enough for something special. You'll find faceted and smooth drops from just over an inch to two, in teardrop, heart and briolette cuts, alongside beaded and solid strand necklaces.
